LongHorn Steakhouse in Lady Lake offers one of the best lunch values in The Villages. Our recent lunch visit completely exceeded expectations, confirming why it remains a top local favorite for quality and price.

Updated November 2025 — we revisited LongHorn for lunch and added new photos of the lunch menu and our meal.

We arrived hungry, and our server, Elliot, greeted us with a warm loaf of fresh wheat bread and butter. A perfect start.

I ordered the Crispy Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich — just $8.99 — and it came with a choice of sides: fries, sweet potato fries, baked potato, French onion soup, and more. I chose the French onion soup, and to my surprise, it was a full-size bowl. That alone could have been lunch! The sandwich was fresh, tender, and bursting with flavor.

My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Salad ($9.99) and also went with the French onion soup. She was full after the soup alone but still enjoyed the salad’s fresh mix of greens, strawberries, and grilled chicken.

2025 Lunch Visit Update

We stopped back this week and found LongHorn Steakhouse in Lady Lake still offering one of the best lunch values anywhere near The Villages. The menu features plenty of under-$13 options, including their popular Half-Pound Steakhouse Cheeseburger and the Pick Two combo.

I went with the Half-Pound Cheeseburger and Caesar Salad for $9.99 — still a fantastic deal. The burger was juicy, seasoned well, and served with crisp lettuce and pickles on a toasted bun. The Caesar salad was fresh, with plenty of shaved Parmesan and a light, tangy dressing. Service was quick and friendly, even during the lunch rush.

Why It’s Still the Best Lunch Value in The Villages

Between portion sizes, quality, and price, LongHorn continues to deliver unbeatable value. The lunch menu is ideal for couples or anyone looking for a satisfying midday meal without spending a fortune. It remains one of our favorite go-to lunch spots near The Villages.
