Costco Is Finally Coming to The Villages

Update (July 1, 2025): Costco in The Villages, Florida, is officially scheduled to open on Tuesday, August 4, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. The new store will be located at Buffalo Ridge Plaza, next to Hobby Lobby on County Road 466.

The opening date had briefly been removed from the Costco website, but based on construction progress and staffing updates, August 6 now appears to be the confirmed launch. We’ll continue monitoring and post updates if anything changes.

This long-awaited addition brings fuel pumps, bulk savings, pharmacy services, and one of the most requested shopping experiences right to The Villages.
