Bella Vita Italian Steakhouse Spanish Springs – Pre-Show Dinner Review
We were heading to a show at The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center and wanted something close, comfortable, and dependable for dinner. Bella Vita Italian Steakhouse in Spanish Springs made sense based on location alone — just a short walk from the square.
Instead of the main dining room, we chose the bar area. It’s slightly more relaxed and social, which worked well for a pre-theater meal. We had enough time to enjoy dinner without feeling rushed before curtain.
What to Expect
- Atmosphere: Traditional Italian steakhouse with a polished dining room and livelier bar area
- Pace: Steady but efficient, especially for pre-show diners
- Typical Crowd: Couples, small groups, and theatergoers
- Good to Know: Easy walking distance to The Sharon for show nights
Atmosphere & Setting
Bella Vita sits directly in Spanish Springs Town Square. From the outside, it carries a classic Italian-steakhouse look with a warm awning and patio seating facing the square.
Inside, the main dining room feels more traditional and polished. The bar section, where we sat, has a little more movement and conversation. It felt comfortable without being loud.
Service Before a Show
Service was attentive throughout the meal. One diner ordered the Scallop Truffle Risotto but asked to substitute shrimp instead. The kitchen handled the change without hesitation or delay.
That kind of flexibility matters when you’re watching the clock before a performance.
What We Ordered
Lobster Bisque
Smooth and rich, with a deep color and balanced flavor. A comfortable start to the meal.
Pasta Milano
Artichokes, asparagus, and sun-dried tomatoes in a light butter sauce. Lighter than many red-sauce options on the menu.
Shrimp Parmigiana
Classic Italian-American comfort food — marinara, melted mozzarella, and pasta on the side. The portion was generous.
Shrimp Truffle Risotto (Modified)
Originally listed as a scallop dish, but easily modified to shrimp. Creamy risotto base with seafood layered on top. The substitution was handled smoothly.
Old Fashioned
Properly balanced and well prepared — a simple, reliable choice for a theater night.
Menu Notes (As of February 2026)
During our visit, lunch classics were listed at $13.99 (11am–3pm), and Aperitivo Hour ran daily from 3pm–5pm. The menu includes traditional Italian dishes like lasagna and marsala, along with steaks and weekend lobster specials.
Quick Take
Bella Vita works well as a practical pre-show dinner option in Spanish Springs. The location is its biggest advantage — you can finish your meal and walk directly to The Sharon without worrying about parking twice.
The atmosphere feels traditional and steady rather than trendy. If you’re looking for a relaxed Italian meal before a performance, it’s a convenient and dependable choice.
If this helped you decide whether to go before a show, feel free to share it with someone who’s been wondering about dinner options near The Sharon.
