Bellaire Executive Golf Course The Villages — First Look, Scorecard & Early Reviews

The Bellaire Executive Golf Course in The Villages is now officially open near the new Eastport waterfront district. It brings another executive-level option to golfers in the southern communities. Although some residents were unsure about the course level at first, the official scorecard clearly shows Bellaire as a Level 2 Executive Course.

Level 2 executive courses in The Villages typically offer moderate difficulty with a mix of shorter precision holes and a handful of longer par 3s.

We visited Bellaire during opening week to photograph the course, starter shack, Hole 1, the yardage card, and the full scorecard. While we haven’t played a full round yet, we wanted to document the layout and share early observations from golfers who have.

Opening Hole Design: Three Short Par 3s to Start

One detail many golfers immediately notice is how the round begins.

From the Black tees, the first three holes measure 113, 97, and 106 yards. For many players, that means starting the round with three consecutive wedge shots.

Short par 3s are not a negative by themselves — but grouping three of them together creates a distinctly short opening stretch. The layout begins to vary more at Hole 4, where distances increase and club selection expands.

Later holes stretch into the 160–190 yard range, bringing longer irons and hybrids into play. But first impressions matter, and the opening sequence gives Bellaire a compact, precision-focused start.

Early Golfer Reactions

After speaking with several golfers who completed a round at Bellaire during opening week, here’s what stood out:

  • 🌿 Deep rough — multiple golfers said it’s very easy to lose your ball.
  • 🏗️ Surrounding areas remain under construction — new homes and landscaping should improve the course’s overall look.
  • 🚰 A visible water treatment tank sits beside the course — many expect it to blend in once the neighborhood fills in.
  • Tee boxes sit close to prior greens — some players felt exposed to shots from the group behind them.

Even with the mixed feedback, most golfers felt happy to have another nearby option. Its location within walking distance of Eastport and the new restaurants and entertainment made the course even more appealing.
