Burlington in Lady Lake Appears Close to Opening (April 24 Target Date)

The Burlington Lady Lake location looks close to opening near The Villages — and it’s a little closer than most people expect.

I stopped by Village Crossroads this week to take a look. The sign is already up, there were workers outside still setting things up, and from what I could see, the inside looks mostly put together.

Based on what employees on-site told me, the current target date is:

The store is in Village Crossroads on 441 in Lady Lake, in the former Joann Fabrics space next to HomeSense.

If you’re near Spanish Springs, it’s a quick trip — and already a familiar shopping area for most people.

What to expect at Burlington in Lady Lake

If you’ve been to Burlington before, you already know the general idea. The newer stores just tend to feel a bit more updated.

From what’s expected, this location should include:

• Discount clothing for men, women, and kids
• Shoes and accessories
• Home décor and seasonal items
• Beauty products
• Pet items

Pricing is usually similar to TJ Maxx or Ross — generally below regular retail.

What it looks like right now

It looks like they’re in the final stretch.

The sign is up, people are actively working, and it doesn’t feel like a “months away” situation. It looks more like they’re getting ready to open.

Why this spot matters

This part of 441 has quietly become one of the more useful shopping areas near The Villages.

Within a few minutes, you’ve got:

• Sam’s Club
• HomeSense
• Best Buy
• TJ Maxx
• Bealls Outlet
• Target
• Home Depot
• Total Wine
• The newer PGA TOUR Superstore

It’s the kind of area where you can knock out a few errands without bouncing all over.

You can see the growth pretty clearly along 441 right now — this is just one more piece of it.
