Piesanos Middleton opened on its announced opening date, Monday, October 12; Oak & Stone is welcoming diners at Eastport; and new design plans have dropped for Rock N Roll Recreation. Here is your local update on what is open, what is cooking, and what is still under construction across The Villages.

Updates checked October 13, 2026.

Piesanos Middleton Opening Date and This Week at a Glance

  • Piesanos, Middleton: Opened Monday, October 12.
  • Oak & Stone, Eastport: Officially opened October 6.
  • LUXE Steakhouse & Cellar: Public opening remains unconfirmed.
  • Rock N Roll Recreation: 1950s radio-themed design announced; no opening date yet.
  • Former Fenney Grill: No replacement operator confirmed.

Piesanos Middleton Opening Date: Now Open Since October 12

Piesanos’ own announcement named Monday, October 12 as the opening date for its new Middleton restaurant, correcting our earlier tracking, and it opened as planned.

The restaurant is located at 2259 Dr. Randy McDaniel Way, featuring dine-in service, carryout, online ordering, catering, and their signature stone-fired pizzas, pastas, and rolls.

When I photographed the location for my Middleton and Eastport photo update, it looked completely ready for crowds.

One detail to note: the corporate locations page may still list Middleton as “coming soon,” but the restaurant is open.

Oak & Stone Now Open at Eastport

The October 6 opening is official. Villages-News reported that Oak & Stone welcomed customers following its ribbon cutting last Tuesday morning.

The new spot brings tavern-style food, indoor/patio seating, and a self-pour beverage wall for beer, wine, and bourbon to the Eastport town center.

LUXE Steakhouse Awaits Confirmed Public Opening

LUXE Steakhouse & Cellar at Woodlands Championship Golf Course remains on our radar.

While an early-to-mid October target window was anticipated, we cannot yet confirm that LUXE is actively serving the public.

As of October 13, RGM Restaurants’ website still lists LUXE as “coming soon” without an active reservation link. We are holding off on calling it open until we see a direct announcement or verified diner visit.

First Look: Rock N Roll Recreation Center Plans

The Villages shared conceptual plans for Rock N Roll Recreation on October 5. Designed around a 1950s radio station aesthetic, it features art deco architecture and a rock-and-roll motif.

Planned amenities include pickleball, tennis, bocce, shuffleboard, a family pool, corn toss, and a pavilion. The official announcement positions it as “on the horizon” with no construction start or opening date set yet.

No Confirmed Replacement for Fenney Grill

We have not found a verified announcement naming a new operator for the former Fenney Grill space.

Rumors regarding a “Natives” business remain unconfirmed—both The Natives at Lake Okahumpka and Harry and the Natives in Hobe Sound are separate operations and should not be attached to Fenney’s without official confirmation from property management.

Stay tuned to OnlyVillages.com for updates as soon as these doors open.
