How Much Does Prime and Ember Cost? (January 2026 Price Range)
Most guests can expect dinner for two (without alcohol) to range roughly between $90–$160 depending on steak selection and add-ons. Wine and specialty cocktails can increase the total quickly, particularly for celebration-style dinners.
Prime and Ember is positioned as one of Eastport’s anchor steakhouses — and priced accordingly. Here’s what you can expect to pay:
- Steaks: $38–$72
- Seafood Entrées: $32–$55
- Starters: $12–$24
- Desserts: $10–$14
Compared to most country club restaurants in The Villages, Prime and Ember is positioned at the higher end — closer to a traditional steakhouse than a casual grill. If you’re comparing it to other Eastport restaurants, expect it to fall into the higher-end, special-occasion category rather than everyday dining.
This isn’t an everyday casual dinner spot for most people — it’s more in the date-night, celebration, or “guests are in town” category.

Our Experience at Prime and Ember
Prime and Ember is one of the newer steakhouses in the area. The observations below reflect visits between November 2025 and January 2026.
The Rooftop Bar
The rooftop bar is now open and overlooks Eastport. Around sunset, it tends to fill in steadily. The space feels elevated compared to many nearby dining options.
One note: sunset rooftop seating fills quickly on weekends. If that’s the goal, reservations (or arriving early) make a noticeable difference.
Weekend reservations are recommended, especially during peak sunset hours.
Tableside Steak Presentation
Before ordering, servers present the available steak cuts at the table and explain the differences, which adds clarity before committing to a selection.
Entrées We Tried
- Tide & Timber: 6oz filet with parmesan shrimp.
- Chateau Ember: Prepared between medium-rare and medium.
- Marinated Pork Ribeye: Ordered medium-well based on recommendation.
Service Notes
Service was attentive and steady. During one visit, an entrée needed to be remade and a lobster bisque was provided while we waited.
Desserts
The Fire-Side S’mores Brownie and crème brûlée were both well executed.
Lunch, Hours & Location
Lunch is served from 11am–3pm. For official updates, visit primeandember.com.
Is Prime and Ember Worth It?
If you’re looking for a traditional steakhouse experience in Eastport — with higher-end pricing, tableside steak presentation, and a slower dinner pace — Prime and Ember fills that role well. It’s best suited for date nights, celebrations, or hosting visiting guests rather than quick casual meals.
Right now, if someone asks, “Where’s the steakhouse in Eastport?” — this is the one.
