RedSauce in Lake Sumter Landing — Menu, Portions & What to Expect
Looking for the current RedSauce Lake Sumter Landing menu in The Villages? We visited in February 2026 to verify the current menu, drink pricing, portions, and overall atmosphere.
• February 2026 — Dinner visit, menu and pricing verified.
How Busy Was It?
RedSauce was as busy as we’ve seen it. Every table was filled. Every seat at the bar was taken. Even after we finished dinner, there was still a line of guests waiting to be seated.
There was no live music the night we visited, yet the energy in the room was lively and steady throughout dinner service.
Given how full the restaurant was, reservations are recommended.
RedSauce Menu (Verified February 2026)
The RedSauce menu leans traditional Italian-American, with a wide selection of pastas, seafood, chicken, veal, pizzas, and classic appetizers.
Expect generous portions and familiar comfort dishes rather than modern fusion or fine-dining presentations.
What We Ordered
Arancini
The arancini arrived as a generous portion, crisp on the outside and served with marinara for dipping. A traditional starter and a good shareable option for the table.
Cutting into them revealed a hearty, flavorful filling inside with a well-fried exterior that held together nicely.
Calamari
Lightly fried, generous portion, served with both marinara and a sweet chili style sauce.
Bada Bing Shrimp
A popular appetizer choice with a light crisp coating and bold flavor. Another generous portion suitable for sharing.
Chicken Prosciutto
A hearty entrée with generous portions, consistent with the restaurant’s traditional Italian-American style.
Eggplant Parmigiana
Served with pasta and vegetables, this classic dish reflected the restaurant’s focus on substantial portions.
Mussels
A large bowl with plenty of broth and shellfish — easily shareable as an appetizer.
Across the table, everyone commented on how large the portions were. No one left hungry.
The Martini Surprise
A notable detail — martinis are served with the shaker left on the table. That means you essentially get two full pours for the price of one. A nice touch that didn’t go unnoticed.
RedSauce Drink Menu (February 2026)
RedSauce offers a full drink menu including specialty martinis, spritz options, dessert cocktails, bottled beer, draft beer, and a wide selection of red and white wines.
The Limoncello Martini and RedSauce Martini are popular choices, and as noted above, martinis are served with the shaker left at the table — effectively giving you a second pour.
Service & Overall Experience
Despite the packed dining room, service was handled smoothly with no slipups. Plates came out timely, drinks were refilled, and the pacing never felt rushed.
Our guests, who had never dined at RedSauce before, said they would definitely return.
