Sawgrass Grove is a smaller, casual dining square on the south side of The Villages. Most of its food comes from the walk-up windows at the Market at Sawgrass Grove — now operated by FMK Hospitality — plus one full-service restaurant. The Market is open daily from 11 AM to 10 PM, and food is easy to carry to the seating around the Boxcar Stage during live entertainment.

• Grove House (formerly Sawgrass Tavern) — The only full-service, sit-down restaurant at Sawgrass Grove. FMK Hospitality closed Sawgrass Tavern on October 11, 2026 for a rebrand, and it reopens as Grove House at 11 AM on October 19, 2026.

🟢 Eastport

Eastport is The Villages’ newest town center and is still taking shape. Its dining lineup leans upscale and destination-oriented — anchored by Prime & Ember and the Hotel Eastport restaurants — with a tavern, coffee shops, ice cream, and several more restaurants on the way. Middleton has grown into one of the busiest new dining areas in The Villages, with a mix of full-service, fast-casual, and dessert options in Downtown Middleton. • Breakfast choices are still limited in Middleton; most residents head to nearby town centers in the morning. CFS Coffee for the Soul has been confirmed for Middleton (opening date not yet announced).
