Timberland & The Lakes Executive Golf Courses Open in The Villages (Location, Tee Times & Map)

Two new executive golf courses in the southern area of The Villages—Timberland and The Lakes—are scheduled to open on Friday, October 30, 2026. Located near the Village of Long Prairie, residents can already request tee times through the automated system.

The Villages announced the official course openings on October 19. Tee-time requests opened on October 23, giving residents an opportunity to request a round ahead of Friday’s opening weekend.

Timberland & The Lakes Course Details

According to The Villages’ announcement, each course offers a unique layout and playing experience:

The Lakes Executive Golf Course features water views and rolling terrain, with a layout specifically designed to test and improve your short-game skills.

Timberland Executive Golf Course features mature oaks, longer holes, bunkers, and rolling terrain. The course description emphasizes thoughtful shot placement and navigating the natural landscape.

Both are brand-new executive courses, adding two more 9-hole options for residents playing in the southern part of The Villages. Executive golf courses are shorter than a full championship layout, making them a great fit for a quick morning round, a relaxed afternoon with friends, or extra practice on your short game.

Location & Golf Cart Directions

The courses are located in the southern area near the Village of Long Prairie. The Google Maps destination places the entry along Lolley Court, directly east of Pullman Recreation Center.

If you are navigating by golf cart along the multimodal path network, Pullman Recreation Center and the nearby Beautyberry and Honeysuckle Executive Golf Courses serve as the closest landmarks.

How to Request a Tee Time

Both courses use the standard Automated Tee Time System. Residents can submit tee time requests through their online account or by calling 352-753-GOLF (4653).
